Resource Coordinator, Environmental Impact Review Board (EIRB)

(Term, One Year Term position) 

Job Description

The Joint Secretariat is looking for a Resource Coordinator for a one-year term to support the members of the Environmental Impact Review Board (EIRB), a Co-Management Board, at our office located in Inuvik, NT. This position is responsible for providing administrative and technical expertise to the EIRB, ensuring the organization meets its obligations and responsibilities under the Inuvialuit Final Agreement (IFA). 

Preference will be given to beneficiaries of the Inuvialuit Final Agreement (IFA). We encourage candidates to self-identify as beneficiaries of the IFA.

Come and join the Joint Secretariat as the

Marine Protected Area (MPA) Community Liaison

(Permanent, full-time position) 

Job Description

The Joint Secretariat (JS) is looking for a full-time Marine Protected Area (MPA) Community Liaison. The MPA Community Liaison works in conjunction with the MPA Coordinator to facilitate the co-management of existing Oceans Act Marine Protected Areas (MPA) in the Inuvialuit Settlement Region (ISR) and support MPA management plans and monitoring programs. This position is responsible for providing administrative and technical support to ensure the organization meets its obligations and responsibilities to its key stakeholders.

Inuvialuit Game Council (IGC) Resource Management Coordinator

(Permanent, full-time position) 

Job Description

The Joint Secretariat (JS) is looking for Inuvialuit Game Council (IGC) Resource Management Coordinator for a one-year term position. To support the work of the council, at our office located in Inuvik, NT. The incumbent is responsible for providing administrative and technical support to the IGC to meet its mandate. The mandate includes being responsible for upholding and administering Inuvialuit harvesting rights as well as representing the collective Inuvialuit interest in all matters related to renewable resource management in the Inuvialuit Settlement Region (ISR).

Preference will be given to beneficiaries of the Inuvialuit Final Agreement (IFA). We encourage candidates to self-identify as beneficiaries of the IFA.
